Web search goliath Google's internet browser Google Chrome arrived at a record position in May as it assumed control over the market. According to a report by Computer World, citing data from Internet data analyst Net market share, Chrome has a market share of 68.26% of desktop users in the web browser market. There is no other browser around Chrome.

As indicated by NetMarketShare, Firefox is the second largest browser market at 7.2%. Microsoft's Edge browser holds 6.67 percent of the market.Computer World reports that from the point of view of the market share of the browser, no other browser like the current position of Chrome has come in the last one era. Most recently, in December 2008, Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser accounted for 70 percent of the browser market.
